A great commuter for a good price.
You just can't beat a scooter when it comes to good, practical commuting. And the Suzuki Burgman 650 is a great representative of the category. With ample power from its 650cc Twin, it's equally at home getting you to and from the office as it is going on a touring ride – with a few choice upgrades. Mainly proper backrests. Backrests, mind you, this 2006 Burgman 650 comes with.
For $2500, this Burgman is one of those deals you should just jump on and figure out later if you're even remotely in the market for a practical two-wheeler. Sure it has nearly 28,000 miles, but these Suzuki engines are stone reliable and, judging by the pictures anyway, this scoot looks to be well taken care of. 2006 Burgman. 650. 27,800 miles, I have had it since June of 2008 when I got it with 1,200 miles. Beautiful condition, NEVER dropped, $25,000 miles, silver color. Well maintained, but has been sitting in my shed. Needs a new home.
Price is firm. Most all miles on it were ridden in SE Arizona prior to our move to Central Ohio.
I installed modulating brake lights for safety. Another great addition I added was a modulator to the twin headlights, for much more added safety.... I had a Goldwing style windshield but have since reinstalled the OEM windshield. But as I said it's in my shed and I have to get it out to take recent pics. I got a new Kubota Zero Turn mower and I NEED the shed space to park it.

I owned about 3 Burgman 650 and 3 Burgman 400. The Burgman 650 weighs a lot. 400 is a better all around scooter. I've also owned 2 silverwings. I love the Burgmans for the storage and fuel economy. Now, I'm riding a Honda CTX700D. The golden era of Maxi Scooters in the US is your year of Burgman.
I might have snagged it if he was still in AZ. Ohio is kind of a haul to pick up a scooter.
